How Did Avinash Save Life Of Five People

No one knows when they may die, but when you go, you can leave a legacy. You will be in the heart of others, as long as the sun shines.

In 2020, Aakash and Nivedita didn’t know much about organ donation. But when their 30-year-old son, Avinash, suffered fatal head injuries in a road accident, the attending doctor gently encouraged them to consider a donation. They agreed. Their son’s heart, liver, kidneys, and pancreas helped to save the lives of five people.

In India, with over 10 lakh people awaiting corneal transplantation, 50,000 in line for heart transplantation, and 20,000 in need of lung transplantation.
